Best Places to Watch Fireworks near Norwalk, California

Every Fourth of July, it is estimated that the United States spends more than $1 billion on fireworks . Californians alone spend roughly $13,000,442. It’s safe to say that Americans love their fireworks, especially on Independence Day.

This year, don’t miss out on the splashes of colors in the sky and the crackling sounds. If you wonder where the best spots to watch firework shows are, we’ve got you covered. Here are the top three places to see fireworks near Norwalk, California.

Joint Forces Training Base

One of the most magnificent firework shows near Norwalk, California, is the Drive-Up Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at Joint Forces Training Base. The cities of Los Alamitos and Seal Beach are hosting this year, and the event is free! Because there is limited space, however, you must make a reservation. We recommend doing that soon before all the spots fill up!

Visitors are allowed to enter the base at 4:00 p.m. While you must stay in or near your vehicle for social distancing purposes, there will be food and beverage vendors leading up to the event at 9:00 p.m. Grab some grub and enjoy the show!

Let Freedom Ring Celebration

There will be a formal ceremony, music, and a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. While there won’t be any carnival rides or food booths, the celebration will still be a blast. Pack treats, bring some water, and enjoy the festivities.

Long Beach Waterfront

The Long Beach waterfront firework show is back and will be bigger than ever. The show is hosted by Harbor Breeze Cruises and the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and will take place in Queensway Bay on July 4. Parking will be available in multiple areas, including the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center and nearby public lots.

The good news for residents is that there are various areas with great views of the show. Consider watching from Lions Lighthouse for Sight, Shoreline Village, Rainbow Harbor, Marina Green, and the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center parking lot.
